Nograles warns the public against false assertions such as that of Fabunan Antiviral Injections, as effective treatment for Covid-19.

Bakit di subukan??? dahil ba d western medicine?

FDA said there were no currently registered drugs or vaccines licensed specifically to cure the COVID-19.
“Manufacturers and vendors of unlicensed products such as PRODEX B and the Fabunan Antiviral Injections have been informed regarding the

process and requirements to register their products with the FDA Center for Drug Regulation and Research (CDRR). No applications for product registration have been filed to date. Until such products are proven safe and effective for use in the treatment of COVID-19 they cannot be dispensed to the public nor can therapeutic claims be made,” the FDA said

Filipinos never learn a lesson. How many Filipino scientist have discovered, invented, formulated scientific breakthroughs but were not given credit because scientists from other countries took their ideas and claimed it their own. Edison got the credit for the fluorescent light invented by Agapito Flores, Lilly Pharmaceuticals took credit on an antibiotic "erythromycin" formulated by a Filipino doctor.

The Karaoke, invented by a Filipino but Japan took the credit, the nata de Coco, a Filipino formula from coconut, Japan patented it as theirs and used it as a material for surgical thread that melts in the body because" nata de coco" is edible.

There was a man who discovered he could run a car using water only. What happened to his invention. A year later it was announced Japan can run a car using water.

And now, we have a medicine that could cure Covid 19. What are doing. Are we waiting for some foreigners to claim this as their own? The Fabunan had it patented in the US, so they have the formula. All they could do is dig up the file and check them in their labs. Watch out for their announcement of a discovery which is the Fabunan formula and make a name for it. Poor Filipino.

DOH: More than 800,000 children vaccinated with Dengvaxia

The Dengvaxia controversy, Dengvaxia issue, or Dengvaxia mess[5] is an ongoing controversy about the use of anti-dengue vaccine Dengvaxia in the Philippines. In late November 2017, the Department of Health (DOH) suspended a school-based vaccination program[6] utilizing French drug-based vaccine maker Sanofi Pasteur's Dengvaxia vaccine (Tagalog pronunciation: [dɛŋˈvakʃa]) because reports circulated that several children died from various complications allegedly attributed to the dengue vaccine.[7] Shortly after, the company made a statement that its product poses higher risks to people without prior dengue infection.[8]

As of August 2019, over 600 people who have received the vaccine, mostly children, have died (though not necessarily caused by the vaccine itself) and the DOH has banned the vaccine's sale or use in the country. The scare caused by the controversy may be a factor in the country's loss of confidence in vaccines and low immunization rates,  resulting in an infectious disease crisis in the Philippines in 2019, including the 2019 Philippines measles outbreak.
